Ready.... Set....

A 365 Project is one heck of a commitment, but I think I am ready to take it on!  If you aren't familiar with what one is, basically it is a project where you post something every day.  The project could have a theme or be eclectic and random.  My project has two parts to it:  Random words and photos.

How it works...
Every day I will randomly generate a word using a word generator online and then whatever that word may be I will use it to inspire or incorporate it in my photography.  Whatever photo I take inspired by that word is what I will share on here.

One word.  One photo.  Every day.

Seems simple, right?
I can't promise great photographic masterpieces every single day, but I do hope I can keep the promise to myself and those of you that choose to follow my project that I will share 365 photos inspired by random words between now and December 31st.  What you will see is obscurity, a bit more into my surroundings, and creativity.

Would you like to participate?
If this sounds fun to you, even if its just for fun and not your own 365 challenge, then let me know and I will generate "tomorrow's word" today so you can see it and spur your own photographic creativity!

  2. What a great idea! I'm going to follow for no reason other than I adore your photographic work and I would love to follow the journey. I would love to be a part of this but the coming year will be lots of workshops and little personal time -- BUT, I will watch you and LEARN...

  3. Ahhh! That doesn't sound simple at all- I'd be lost. Of course, you've got a few more creative bones than I do! Can't wait to see what you bring!

  4. I've been following your other blog for several months now and I'm definitely going to follow this one as well. I would also like to participate, just not sure if I'm up for a challenge... my own 365 project went south after about 8 months of doing it ;(

  6. I already know better than to try to commit to something like this. However, I'm looking forward to following you. I simply don't know how you do it all, Jen!

  7. Jen - I would love to participate. I wanted to do a 365 last year and never did. I love taking photos and this would give me a reason to branch out a little and take photos of more than just my boys.

  10. Clearly, I am not cut out for a post every day. My project crashed and burned in no time. I'm shooting for 365 posts over about... 5 years, maybe. I love that you're doing this, though. I think the random word idea is excellent and I will participate whenever I can. :)

  12. I'm completed with my second year doing a 365 project. Planning to do it again in 2011 but hadn't decided on a definite plan yet. Like what you have in mind and will be following at least and perhaps participating as well.

  15. I just found your blog from the Pioneer Woman. I did 30 days of gratitude in November, with no promises of pictures and that was a challenge. Good Luck on 365 days! Can't wait to follow this!!
